Leeds-based QHSE Integrity was formed by husband-and-wife team, Sean and Susan Sanders, in 2014. Both have vast experience in their fields: Sean in Health & Safety and Susan in Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Systems. Over the years, Sean and Susan have developed the skillsets to operate across a variety of environments, adapting services, solutions and training to suit clients on a case-by-case basis.

Sean is a Chartered Member of IOSH and with 20 years experience within the offshore oil & gas industry as an Integrity Engineer, Sean has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the field of Health & Safety. His background is in multi-disciplined non-destructive testing with the addition of roles including Emergency Fire Team Leader, Helicopter Landing Officer, Advanced First Aider, Industrial Rope Access Team Leader, coordinating the transportation of dangerous goods by sea and air including radioactive materials.
Prior to this, Sean served in the Royal Marines followed by eight years’ service with a leading engineering company, travelling the world commissioning machinery and training overseas management teams and their staff.
Sean’s considerable experience of Health & Safety has included hazard awareness and perception, risk assessment, accident investigation, internal auditing and safety inspections in a multitude of industrial environments. Sean also has substantial experience of training clients in Health & Safety topics including behavioural coaching.
Susan Sanders, Managing Director

Susan began her career in the Royal Air Force before moving into the Oil & Gas industry, where she developed and progressed her career in Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management. She later joined one of the UK’s leading certification bodies as a Lead Auditor, gaining valuable insight across a wide range of sectors and business types. In 2014, she founded QHSE Integrity Services Ltd to provide practical, independent support to organisations seeking to improve or maintain compliance.
With hands-on experience in implementing, managing and transitioning ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems, Susan has developed a strong understanding of compliance and risk from the perspectives of internal management, external auditing, and consultancy. She also delivers ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Training, supporting organisations in developing competent internal audit teams.
Her broad experience enables her to provide practical, effective solutions that help clients meet compliance obligations while focusing on performance and improvement.
